Proudly serving southeastern New Brunswick for over 35 years!
Parlour Pawn, originally called The Parlour, first opened for business on May 1981 in the location known at the time as the K-Mart Plaza on Mountain Road in Moncton, NB. After a time, the owner, who had several years’ experience with Radio Shack, decided to specialize in items for which he had experience. Home Electronics. As a result, TVs and Stereos began to be prominently displayed along with LPs and eight track and cassette tapes.
As time went on, the management of Parlour Pawn strove to set the store apart from other second hand pawnshops by establishing a conventional “department store” image with cleanliness, appropriate displays and professional merchandising. By 1990 the Parlour became one of the most popular Second Hand stores in Atlantic Canada proving the effectiveness of its policies.
In order to gain more space for its merchandise the Parlour moved in 1992 to its present location across from the Northwest Centre on Mountain Road. In keeping with the “high tech” image of the store a Computer Department was Established in 1998.
In 2011 The Parlour changed it’s name to Parlour Pawn in order to put more emphasis on the small loans part of the business. In 2014 we added a Cell phone department and in 2018 we added a Jewellery Repair department.
Parlour Pawn has always taken great pride in the fact that our staff is trained to provide service as well as products and we look forward to providing this service in the future!

We aren’t saying we’re the best, but our customers tend to think so.
The only pawn shop to go to! I strayed once and I was burned. I know when I buy something here it is going to be worth every nickel I pay for it! I have never been disappointed. I used to go to a pawn shop in Fredericton South that has the same ethics as you and when I moved to the Moncton area I was glad to find another store that was honest with great cx service and stands behind their product! I will never stray from you guys again.

Best service and staff that know about the stuff they buy and sell. You don’t buy junk and you give a better price than the competition. Those other guys have a lot of work to do. As long as I can remember, The Parlour was never one to have that stereotypical shady image that most other pawn shops have and it’s been that way since the days at the old K-mart plaza. You guys stand behind what you sell. So many other shops it’s sold as is and if any problems surface after you get home too bad for you.
