This Christmas We Need to Focus on Community!

Christmas-Crop

Each year at this time, Parlour Pawn takes time to reflect on the success it has enjoyed during the year and tries to react to the growth it has experienced. Generally, our store’s growth is credited to you, the customer! It’s simple really, if we don’t make an honest daily effort of keeping you happy as a customer, you will shop elsewhere. We feel for the most part that our efforts are shown by our growth and for that, you have our unending thanks!

Time to Give Back

But a hearty handshake is hardly enough thanks. That’s why we feel it is important to ‘pay it forward’. The local community has helped us grow to where we are today and so we also enjoy giving back to the same community that has always supported us.

Throughout December, Parlour Pawn will be donating over five thousand dollars to local community charities, with plans for more in the new year. Our “Candies for Charity” program will provide year round funds for local services in need.

We have also supported local individuals in need under special circumstances, with cash donations as well as items for fundraising auctions and such.

Some groups we have and will continue to help include Food Bank Alimentaire which was kind enough to post this photo on their Facebook page last week:

Others include Nazareth House, Harvest House, Moncton Headstart, the Jerry Wylie Benefit Concert we posted several times about a few weeks ago, Georges Dumont Tree of Life and many more.

Our Challenge to other Retailers!

We challenge all similar local retail establishments and pawnshops to take our lead and match our efforts to help our community in their times of need. It is our responsibility!
